Steve joined Bayleys from one of New Zealand’s leading law firms, Russell McVeagh, where he was a Partner in the Real Estate and Construction team.
He has been involved in some of New Zealand’s most high-profile, complex transactions in recent years, including the $1bn+ acquisitions by PSP and CPP of the ex-APP property portfolio, and Goodman’s forward-leasing and development of the VXV office park in Central Auckland.
With 18 years of global experience in real estate agency, legal practice and leadership, Steve brings a wealth of knowledge to his role.

Samara is the Syndicated Investment Manager for the Bayleys Syndication & Investment Products Division and manages the process from marketing through to sales and investor relations. Samara has a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management from the University of Otago and since joining Bayleys Auckland in 2010, she has been instrumental in raising nearly three quarters of a billion dollars for New Zealand’s leading property fund managers – over $350 million in just the last three years. Her previous background involved key roles within a leading property syndication and management company.
After 15 years specialising in the syndicated property area, Samara has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of this sector of the market. Sarah is an integral part of Bayleys Syndication & Investment Products Division and has been since specialising in this area of property investment six years ago. Her background with Bayleys is extensive, having started in 2008 working part-time in the research team whilst completing a Bachelor of Property and Bachelor of Science from Auckland University. After graduating in 2009, Sarah joined the Auckland Central Commercial and Industrial team working successfully in administration, sales and leasing roles.
Sarah has a strong understanding of many aspects of syndicated property investment and in particular the importance of client communication and care. Her ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of people along with her remarkable work ethic ensures clients receive the highest level of service.

Shirley joined the Bayleys Syndication & Investment Products Division five years ago, building on the valuable property knowledge she gained working in sales support positions for top salespeople within the company. Prior to this she utilised the skills gained in her Bachelor of Graphic Design along with her natural attention to detail and organisational abilities in marketing and human resource roles.
Her commitment to her role has seen her complete her real estate license and expand her duties to now not only overseeing the day to day marketing and implementing CRM system changes but being a key contact for investors questions.
Shirley has enjoyed speaking with many investors on the phone and looks forward to meeting more investors in person at the presentations held around the country.

Joining Bayleys six years ago, Marcus has vast experience in the marketing department coordinating national advertising for offices throughout New Zealand.
